In light of this week’s devastating earthquake, I want to take a minute to state the obvious: Haiti needs our help. Not everyone can get on a plane and lend a hand in person (though I’d dearly like to), but we can all help with our wallets and our prayers. Even a $5.00 donation will make a difference. I’ve donated to the American Red Cross via their website, but there are literally hundreds of other agencies that are doing their best to help in the aftermath of this catastrophe. Please do what you can. And then keep doing it until Haiti gets back on its feet. Hopefully, with the world’s continued attention, Haiti will finally get the care that its people deserve.
